Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel WARNOW MASTER (17,068gt, built 2009) suffered an engine failure on 27 December 2024 whilst off Bozcaada Island.
The vessel’s crew was unable to rectify the problem and tug IRAKLIS Z was sent to assist. Presently it is not known to where the vessel will be towed.
WARNOW MASTER, a containership, is on a voyage from Gemlik, Turkiye to Piraeus, Greece.
