Reports have been received that Indonesian flag vessel VISION GLOBAL (6,674gt built 1995) was taking on water and sinking in the Bali Sea yesterday.
Thirteen of the crew abandoned the vessel into a life raft, whereas another eight are reported to be missing. Vessels in the area have been asked to keep a sharp look out.
VISION GLOBAL is a general cargo vessel which trades between ports in Indonesia. The vessel had sailed from Tuban on 17 December 2023.
