Reports have been received that Maltese flag vessel SILVER LADY (27989gt, built 2003) suffered a fire on board whilst at Dordrecht on 02 June 2023.
At the time the vessel was loading a cargo of scrap. The fire started in the cargo on board and then spread to the cargo on the quayside, provoking a massive fire-fighting response.
After the fire was eventually brought under control, unloading of the cargo was commenced.
