Reports have been received that UK flag vessel MAGIC STRIKER (33,044gt, built 2010) suffered an engine breakdown off the coast of Morocco on 31 March 2023.
The vessel’s crew could not resolve the issue and towage assistance was requested. MAGIC STRIKER is being towed to Algeciras by tug BOKA SHERPA.
The bulk carrier is on a voyage from San Lorenzo, Argentina to Algeciras, Spain, having sailed from Argentina on 09 March 2023.
