Reports have been received that a fire broke out on board Italian flag vessel GRANDE COSTA D’AVORIO on 05 July whilst the vessel was docked at Port Newark, US.
It is reported that two fire fighters have lost their lives during the incident.
The cause of the fire is unknown, but it is understood to have taken hold on deck number 10. Investigations are underway whilst the crew continues to fight the fire.
