Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel SHUO LONG 817 (40,605gt, built 2001 ran aground earlier today on the Yangtze River, close to Changxing Island.
The vessel, a bulk carrier with a cargo of coal on board, was en route from Tangshan to Shanghai.
