Reports have been received that Maltese flag vessel CHRIS GR (30,632gt built 2005) is receiving salvage assistance from Tsavliris Salvage under the terms of an LOF salvage contract.
The vessel is on a voyage from Santos in Brazil for ports in Japan. She has on board a cargo of maize shipped by Cargill and Louis Dreyfus and destined for Mitsubishi Corporation.
