Reports have been received that Indonesian flag vessel GOLDEN OCEAN (20,986gt, built 1984) experienced a fire on board earlier today.
The crew sent a distress signal and rescue operations have been commenced. The vessel is reportedly off Bontang, East Kalimantan.
GOLDEN OCEAN trades between various ports in Indonesia. Her last port of call was Cilacap from where she sailed on 3rd November 2018.
