Reports have been received that Russian flag vessel LEV YASHIN (5,977gt, built 1986) suffered an engine failure on 29th November off Paramushira.
The general cargo vessel is on a voyage from Pevek to Qingdao. A rescue vessel has been sent to take LEV YASHIN in tow.
