Reports have been received that Malta flag vessel KAISA (3183gt built2005) has run aground jut of Randers in Denmark.
The Vessel was on voyage from Stralsund carrying 4200 tonnes of fertilizer. KAISA has been detained by Danish Maritime Authority.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
