Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel SOCOL 6 (6,030gt built 1992) has deviated into Mormugao with engine problems.
The vessel is on a voyage from Ukraine to Vietnam. Around ten days ago she experienced engine problems, off India, and was given permission to enter a port of refuge.
The vessel is expected to resume her voyage later this week. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
