Reports have been received that Philippines flag vessel GENERAL ROMULO (4028gt built 1997) has today been in collision with Philippines flag ferry SUPERFERRY 2 (11405gt built 1973).
The accident took place near Talisay City as both vessels were entering an approach channel. There were no injuries but GENERAL ROMULO has reported damage to her hull and cargo.
