Reports have been received that Dutch flag vessel SLOTERGRACHT (16641gt built 2000) has been towed back to Rauma with engine problems.
The general cargo vessel originally sailed on 22nd November. When machinery problems were encountered, tug Neptun was employed to take her back into port.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
