Reports have been received that Malaysian flag vessel MALAYSIA STAR (16,839gt, built 1992) suffered water ingress on 6 September 2021 whilst at Mongla, Bangladesh.
Deck number 1 was flooded and the vehicles on that deck, shipped from Malaysia, suffered damage as a result.
Prior to this incident MALAYSIA STAR had called at Chittagong, having sailed from Port Klang around the end of August.
