Reports have been received that Paraguay flag vessel ASUNCION B (5,207gt, built 1980) ran aground near the Santa Fe city of Reconquista, Argentina on 02 August 2023.
The vessel, a containership, spent two days trying to refloat by its own means, before the decision was taken to hire professional salvors.
ASUNCION B was eventually refloated on 02 August 2023 but remains stationary according to latest reports.
