Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel ZHE HAI 168 (33,147gt, built 2011) ran aground on 20TH April 2016 off Barangay Aramaywan, Philippines.
The bulk carrier is still aground. Her last reported port of call was Ko Sichang from where she sailed 6th April 2016, although she may have called elsewhere since then.
It is possible that claims for Salvage and/or General Average will arise as a result of this incident.
