Tianjin to Dong Jia Kou
Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel HONG PU 6, en route from Tianjin to Dong Jia Kou, China, suffered an explosion on board on 10 January 2022.
The vessel broke in two amidships. Of the 17 crew members, 15 were rescued, and two are reported to still be missing.
Fire fighting tug BEI HAI JIU 115 was sent to the scene to render assistance, together with several SAR boats and anti-pollution craft. Both the parts of the tanker remain afloat.
