Second Casualty Report
ALION is now at Jebel Ali under repair.
The vessel is expected to sail during the first week of November.
We already represent insurers of part of the cargo on this vessel and are handling the Salvage and General Average claims.

Initial Casualty Report
Reports have been received that Maltese flag vessel ALION (13,764gt, built 2002) experienced an engine breakdown off Duqm around 20 September 2021.
The vessel owners have entered into an LOF salvage contract with Tsavliris Salvage. Security will be required from cargo insurers before the cargo can be delivered.
Prior to this incident ALION, a containership with 548 containers of general cargo on board, had called at Jebel Ali, Jawaharlal Nehru and Port Klang.
