Reports have been received that Maltese flag vessel KAURI (3,454gt, built 1998) experienced a mechanical failure off Terschelling on 1 October 2021.
The general cargo vessel, caught in heavy weather, became disabled as a result and was taken in tow by tug GUARDIAN deployed by the Dutch Coastguard.
KAURI is now at the port of Harlingen. The vessel had sailed from Porssgrunn on 29 September 2021.
