Reports have been received that Italian flag vessel PEPPINO BOTTIGLIERI (51,255gt, built 2009) experienced a fire whilst at anchor off the port or Durban on 9th May.
The fire started in one of the ship’s holds which was loaded with coal.
The vessel arrived at Durban, South Africa on 7th May 2015. She had sailed from Ust-Luga, Russian on 8th April.
