Reports have been received that Tuvalu flag vessel ANA (10,208gt, built 1982) suffered a machinery problem on 7th July in the East China Sea, north of the Taiwan Strait.
The general cargo vessel, on a voyage from Zhoushan towards Singapore, has been towed by a Chinese salvage tug to Lianjiang.
