Reports have been received that Hong Kong flag vessel TRANS SUMMER (33,044gt built 2012) sank today off Hong Kong.
The crew were rescued by helicopters and a vessel from the mainland.
Conditions in the area were said to be winds of around 90kph with wave heights if 15 metres.
The bulk carrier was carrying a cargo of nickel from Indonesia to China.
