Reports have been received that on 31st March 2010 the Italian flag vessel ONDA BLU (8,904gt built 1979) suffered engine damage at Golfo Aranci (Oldia roads, Sardinia).
Arrangements were made for the vessel to be towed into the port of Olbia for the necessary repairs
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
