Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel FOREST ARROW (5321gt built 2007) has run aground off Bacolod, Philippines.
The vessel’s owners have employed Japanese salvors on a Lloyd’s Open Form salvage contract in an attempt to refloat the vessel.
A salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo of sugar on board. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
