Reports have been received that Dominica flag vessel BALTIYSKIY (1926gt built 1979) was yesterday in collision with Panama flag vessel MSC EYRA (21586gt built 1982).
The accident off the coast of Denmark. We understand that MSC EYRA only has minor damage but that BALTIYSKIY 109 is severely damaged and is detained at Skaw. BALTIYSKIY 109 was originally destined for Bilbao.
It is possible that General Average will be declared.
