Reports have been received that Marshall Islands flag vessel ST PINOT (32,311gt, built 2013) suffered an engine room fire on 08 July 2022.
One crew member was injured in the incident. At the time, the bulker was in the Gulf of Aden off the coast of Yemen.
ST PINOT has been taken under tow by tug BOKA EXPEDITION and the convoy was reported to be off Duqm earlier today.
Prior to the incident ST PINOT had called at Lianyungang from where the vessel had sailed on 13 June 2022.
