Reports have been received that Hong Kong flag vessel ATLANTIC GRACE (29,266gt, built 2008) was in collision with Marshall Islands flag vessel AVIATOR near Kandla on 26 November 2021.
As a result of the accident, the bow of ATLANTIC GRACE has become wedged in AVIATOR’s hold number 3.
Emergency vessels have been sent to the scene to assist, although no injuries or pollution have been reported to date.
There is water ingress into AVIATOR. Presently the vessels are just outside the deep water channel and about one mile from shallow water but holding position.
