Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel EIRINI P. (39,974Gt, built 2004) ran aground yesterday off Louisiana.
The bulk carrier remains aground and is awaiting tug assistance.
It is possible that general average and salvage claims will be made as a result of this incident.
