Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel EQUATOR PEACE (88,868gt, built 2000) suffered sea water ingress whilst off the coast of South Africa yesterday.
The bulk carrier is on a voyage from Point Central in Mauritania to Qingdao in China. It is not yet clear to what extent the vessel or cargo has been damaged.
