Reports have been received that Vietnamese flag vessel THANH DAT 01-BLC (1,599gt, built 2008) was in collision with Micronesian flag vessel GUO SHUN 21 (4,427gt, built 2010) off Vung Tau yesterday.
As a result of the accident, THANH DAT 01-BLC sank. Nine of her crew have been rescued and a search is continuing for the remaining two crew members.
