Reports have been received that Panamanian flag vessel BENEDITO (8,604gt, built 2009) suffered a mechanical failure west of Gibraltar on 5th March.
The General cargo vessel is currently being towed by tug MONTE NOVO towards Cadiz and is expected to arrive shortly.
BENEDITO was originally on a voyage from Castellon to Bayonne.
