Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel THETIS D. (17,488gt, built 2009) suffered an engine failure yesterday whilst on a voyage from Poland to Germany.
Tugs were sent to assist the vessel. She was towed into Kiel where investigations were to be undertaken into the problem.
It is also possible that General Average can be declared as a result of incidents of this nature.
