Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel CSE CLIPPER EXPRESS (16,962gt, built 2005) ran aground off the coast of Akita, Japan earlier today after getting caught in a severe snowstorm.
The vessel has traded recently between ports in the Far East and Mexico. She sailed from Akita on 8th March.
