Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel ANDROMEDA S (1,908gt, built 1983) recently experienced engine failure, 62 nautical miles off Tarragona, Spain.
The vessel is on a voyage to Tarragona, Spain from Bandirma, Turkey. She has on board a cargo of 2500mt etibor shipped by Eti Maden Isletmeleri.
The vessel is receiving salvage assistance from Tsavliris Salvage under the terms of an LOF contract. It is likely that general average will also be declared.
