Reports have been received that Hong Kong flag vessel BIRCH 3 (13,781gt, built 1999) has been towed into Gibraltar after experiencing an engine break down.
The general cargo vessel is berthed and is waiting for repairs. The vessel sailed from Richards Bay on 19th December 2014 on voyage to Savona, Italy.
