Reports have been received that Indonesian flag vessel CARAKA JAYA NIAGA III-7 (3,258gt, built 1992) suffered a fire on board on 26th June 2014.
The accident reportedly took place when the crew were carrying out welding work at Gresik anchorage. The vessel’s cargo of timber was ignited. The crew were rescued from the vessel.
