Reports have been received that Canadian flag vessel ATLANTIC ERIE (24300gt, built1985) ran aground just South of Port Colborne, Canada on 12th June 2014.
It is reported the bulker has suffered water ingress a as a result of the accident and is still aground.
The vessel is on a voyage to Sydney having sailed from Chicago on 9th June 2014.
