Reports have been received that Chinese flag vessel DING YAO JING SHENG (2980gt, built2008) collided with Greek flag vessel COSCO NINGBO (109149gt, built2006) close to the mouth of the Yangtze River on 15th December 2013.
In result of the collision DING TAO JING SHENG took on water and developed a list. The 13 crewmembers on board were forced to abandon the vessel and were rescued shortly afterwards.
