Reports have been received that Singapore flag vessel GOLDEN BLESSING (9127gt, built2010) has collided today with lighter vessel BLUE PACIFIC at Chittagong port channel.
The lighter vessel BLUE PACIFIC sustained major damage which resulted in the vessel sinking. The crew are reported to be safe.
BLUE PACIFIC had on board a cargo of around 1800mt wheat.
