Reports have been received that Marshall Islands flag vessel SUERTE (39027gt built 1995) collided with Panama flag vessel CHUANHE (65140gt built 1997) recently.
The vessels collided near Xiamen on 8th April. CHUANHE lost an anchor during the collision, three indentations were noted and railings also damaged.
SUERTE sustained a hole which resulted in water ingress into holds 4 and 5.
