Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel ARKTOS (12844gt built 1990) experienced an engine breakdown on her recent voyage from Kakinada to Conakry.
Salvage services under Lloyd’s Open Form were rendered to the Bulk Carrier and the vessel reached her destination on 2nd August.
It is likely that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also likely that general average will be declared.
