Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel SST (24639 gt, built 1985) ran aground off Singapore.
Singapore Port Operations have advised that salvage services are being rendered under Lloyd’s Open Form by T&T Bisso and POSH Semco.
It is likely that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also likely that General Average will be declared.
