Reports have been received that Bahamas flag vessel LAURA DELMAS (35,748gt built 1979) has run aground off Cameroon.
The RoRo vessel operates a service between Northern Europe and ports in West Africa. She sailed from Douala on 6th November.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
