Reports have been received that Panama flag vessel COSTIS (17214gt built 1984) suffered water ingress into her engine room today off Taiwan.
The bulk carrier, on a voyage from Tangshan to Bintulu, requested urgent assistance and 14 crew members were rescued from the ship. At present the fate of the vessel and another 3 crew members is not known.
