Reports have been received that Cyprus flag vessel CMA CGM VOLGA (16083gt built 2008) is stuck in ice in the Gulf of Finland.
The container vessel originally left Antwerp last month. Reportedly she suffered a damaged propeller and this led to her becoming stuck in the ice. It is understood that suppliers on board are now running low.
The vessel is carrying perishable products that may have suffered as a result.
