Reports have been received that Gibralter flag vessel BREMER JOHANNA (3152gt built 2008) has run aground off Ljusne.
The vessel, carrying a cargo of paper, is understood to have take on a list to starboard and there is seawater ingress to her forepeak. Tugs are attempting to assist the casualty.
It is possible that a salvage claim will be made against the owners/insurers of the cargo on board this vessel. It is also possible that general average will be declared.
