Reports have been received that the Kiribati flag vessel THERESA VIII (12726gt, 1981 built) has been hijacked along with the crew of 28. The vessel appears to be operated by Raffles Shipmanagement Pte Ltd of Singapore.
There are potential claims for General Average arising from this incident.
