Reports have been received that Liberian flag vessel ALEXIA (60,205gt, built 2009) suffered and engine room fire yesterday whilst off the coast of Finland.
No injuries have been reported but the Finnish and Estonian emergency services have been in attendance. We understand that the tanker, on a voyage to Turkey, is currently disabled and drifting.
