Reports have been received that Belize flag vessel NARIMOTO MARU (7,416gt, built 1995) developed a list and capsized earlier today in position lat 10 26 24 N long 109 28 12 E.
NARIMOTO MARU has been abandoned by its crew and other vessels in the vicinity have been asked to render assistance.
The vessel was on a voyage from Malaysia to Taiwan and had sailed from Lumut for Taipei on 25 November 2021.
