Reports have been received that Madeira flag vessel ODETTE (4,224gt, built 2007) suffered a fire in a cargo hold today whilst berthed at Sheerness, UK.
Rescue services and the Coast Guard are in attendance.
Prior to this incident, ODETTE, a general container vessel, had sailed from Bremen on 12 October 2021 and from Izmir on 24 September 2021.
